Escalators installed in a wellhole. Exterior panels are

The Aïshti Foundation building is part of a 35,000 square-meter commercial and cultural complex that includes fashion boutiques, a carefully curated bookstore, restaurants, cafes, a spa, a rooftop bar with stunning views of Beirut overlooking the sea, and an art gallery. Harmoniously integrating the worlds of upscale retail with contemporary art was one of the architectural objectives.

MEBS helped bring these two aesthetics together through the installation of stylish, high-quality elevators and escalators—14 units in total—in the venue. The mirrored escalators installed in the central atrium provide a gorgeous and expansive visual treat for visitors.
